2010 National Grand Challenge

The Science and Engineering Challenge (The Challenge) is an outreach program aimed at changing students’ perceptions of science and engineering. Through the Challenge, students experience an aspect of Science and Engineering which they would not usually see in their school environment.

The National Grand Challenge is the climax of the ‘Challenge ‘calendar where winners and runners-up from the Super Challenges have the opportunity to compete in the National Grand Challenge bringing together the top 24 Australian schools over three days of competition.

This year will mark the 10th year anniversary of the Challenge program making this year’s Grand Challenge a very special event. The 2010 National Grand Challenge is hosted by The Rotary Club of Gosford who held the very first Challenge in 2000.

We would like to extend special thanks to our principal sponsor for the 2010 National Grand Challenge, Abigroup, one of Australia’s leading national contractors.
